For those of you who have an obsession with paint color like I do...this site gives you tons of palettes...and the pictures that inspired them! Sometimes that part is as much fun as the paint colors themselves.
Two.
It's very true, you know. Whether or not you have the sign. But this Etsy shop DOES have the sign and a bunch of other equally cute ones. Sigh. Now I sorta wanna shop....

I don't really get into conflict very often because frankly, it gives me hives. But some of you {especially from around here} might have seen this story on the news. Peter is a friend of mine, a very good friend of Ryan's, and related to a whole bunch of my longtime friends and I think it's ridiculous how his words and more importantly, the spirit of his message have been distorted by the media. I really appreciated this article Peter released in response to the media coverage. Well stated, Peter.

Ryan and I didn't have a cake topper. I mean...we did...but it WAS our cake. {The beauty of a small wedding.} So we aren't doing the traditional "eat the cake topper" thing on our first anniversary. But I loved this blog post by Caroline Rothschild. This is love.

The floor in Ryan's rental apartment...made out of old bleachers. Isn't it cool?

I read that dialogue survey a few days ago - I think I looked at all 122 maps or whatever it is. I'm such a word nerd! I mostly just got irritated by seeing how many people pronounce things wrong. :) Or use the wrong word for things!
I'm ready for a Ryan and Bekah trip to Chicagoland, how about you?
Ryan has his own apartment? Are you guys separated???
Jenna - I'm totally planning to use it for a BLT segment someday!!
WE are thinking maybe this fall when the donut place is open?? :)
Skye - NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! He has a rental! And his renter just moved out so we were over there cleaning last night.
You've gotta be careful about that. You two have your six-month anniversary after a grueling kitchen remodel, and the next thing I know Ryan has his own apartment... ;)
Actually, I love the bleachers as flooring. And that paint color website. Unfortunately, the maps don't show up on my (ancient) laptop OR on my tablet. Maybe I'll try my iPhone next.
fall and donuts sounds wonderful!
Skye - I'm not letting go of this one! He's a keeper!! :) Hope you can see the maps - they are such fun.
Jenna - I will email you!!
You're not missing out on much by not freezing the cake and eating it later. We did, and it tasted gross.
We were so not into tradition we didn't even have a wedding cake, per se. We had cheesecakes which were already pre-cut. So no cake topper for us either :)
Love, love, love the floor in Ryan's apartment -- that is Pinterest-worthy! In fact, maybe I'll be the first to pin it!
