The Saturday Six

One.
When I was five years old, I had the (greatly-underappreciated-at-the-time) privilege of taking a hot air balloon ride with my dad. Last week I ran across this post from my dear, dear friend Jamie Bennett and was not only blown away by how God saturated her own hot air balloon ride dreams - but reminded of some great spiritual truths wrapped up in my 30-year-ago adventure. Need some soul food? Read her blog post. Worth it!

Two.
Marion, our IT guy at work pointed me to this post - about Pinterest fails. I've been pretty fortunate that in my run with Pinterest experiements, most have worked out pretty well. But now and then...it just FAILS. If you need a good laugh, check it out.

Three.

Lynne gave me a Halo charger for my birthday - and it is one of my most favorite things ever in life. It's a charger that fits all the different types of phones...and a myriad of other things, like cameras, Bluetooth devices and gaming systems. It's great because it can charge without a wall outlet...making it perfect for when I'm on the go {which you know...I am quite often} and don't have access to a traditional way to charge my phone. PLUS - the model she got me has a flashlight on the end. It's come in handy a few times already!

Four.

If this doesn't just make you smile....I'm not sure what to do to help you!! This dog is so stinkin' cute. Don't tell Ryan that I want to bring her home and keep her!!!

Five.

I'm not a sports girl at all. I'm thankful that Ryan's sports loves are mostly confined to football season, so I don't have to be a sports widow all year long. But he does like the NBA playoffs, so I've been watching that with him. I understand basketball better than football but still don't entirely "get it." THIS, however, was loud and clear enough to get my attention. And I would just like to say, this guy needs to get a serious attitude adjustment. Ugly, ugly sportsmanship. So much so that I, your non sportsy Bits girl, actually initiated a sports related conversation the day after the game.

Six.
That's my kinda coffee cup!! Just kidding...it's a planter I found at this super cute florist shop in Ohio. I bought it as a treasure for Shafferland and last night I added plants!!

Your IT guy is named Marion? ha

I am not a Heat or Pacer fan in fact I am not a NBA fan but he got what he deserved suspended for tonight's game.

Thanks for the shout out, dear, dear Bekah! :) Love you!!!

Phats - yes he is! And he's great. Totally goes against the IT guy stereotype. And the game was much nicer without him. MUCH.

Jamie - YOU ARE WELCOME. Loved that post so much. :) And the picture. :)

Of course I will comment on the game. Any player that makes THAT much to play as pitiful as nba players do should be spanked. I don't care how old my kids are. I ever catch them acting like that I will kick their butts. --Molly

I absolutely love look at Pinterest Failed sites. They provide so much entertainment! And I am excited to see what your coffee mug planter looks like with plants. That is such a great planter!

OOOH Natasha, yes, I need to do pics of the outdoor stuff! Thanks for the reminder! And remember - I'm nowhere near as proficient as you are! :)
