Y'all, Easter is THIS MONTH. THIS MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And though I was so fortunate to find my wedding dress in the second dress I tried on - and had purchased it inside of 45 minutes - I have a feeling I will NOT be so fortunate when it comes to Easter dress shopping. The annual hair-pulling event is about to resurface.....
So you wanna help? I haven't tried anything on yet, but I found a few online that seem like contenders, so I thought I'd get your input...
All these came from Penneys...I found a few online at Old Navy that looked interesting, but alas, they wouldn't save for me, so I can't ask you about those.
Okay, so here's Contender #1.
A few years ago I would have poo-poohed this print, declaring it not even remotely Eastery enough, but I've relaxed my standards. {Read: been forced into fashion submission by sheer lack of approved prints.} I do like it that this one is blue - because my wedding jewelry would fit nicely with it, thus saving me more money. I also like it that it's not overly hoochy, making it church appropriate. I would also like her waistline. {Hey. A girl can dream.}
I like the color, which is appropriately Eastery...and the belt is nice and tiny, which I also like. {Curvy girls struggle with the wide belts. Wide on wide = potential disaster.} It's also just fun and flowy.
I do not own a green dress, so this would be a fun change. I like it that it's simple without being boring.
Love the color, and love the side drape. Learned on my wedding dress that the side drape is my friend. The illusion does wonders. I'm typically not a ruffle and bow girl, but this isn't overdone, in my opinion.
Thoughts? Suggestions you've found that you think I should know about? Tell me, tell me!

i am a big fan of the GREEN one! With your hair and all, it's just so pretty and i think you'd be beautiful! Green is a fun, new, fresh color to match your fun, new, fresh marriage and life and wonderfulness! :)

I like them all. Go with cheapest. That's my shopping style. Plus trying to help Ryan out a bit.
I like the last one, mainly because of the style but, the color rocks also, just like green better so, that is my 2nd choice. Good Luck!

Love contender # 4. It is a beautiful color that is springy, and the side drape is a nice nod to your wedding gown! :)
I didn't read any of the comments yet, but my favorite is the last one (pink with ruffles). I love the green and blue colors on the dresses, but overall, the pink is my favorite.
I vote Contender #2! Cute :)

Hi Bekah! I pop over to your blog every once in a while from Flying Kites. Sarah's my sis-in-law b/c she married my big brother. Kinda funny b/c our taste is normally very different, but I have to agree with her. Love dress #2. Cute pattern & very Easterish! Good luck picking one out :)
Oh you guys are great! I love your input and will probably post again when I have tried some on!! I will admit to liking the suggestion to buy them all...but will probably be the one who goes with the cheapest! LOL!!!
Hey Bekah - I so wondered when this post was coming and then I missed it on the day! I love all the dresses and think any one of them would be a good look for you. Post day happy third month anniversary. FYI, I was in Tacoma, WA when the "file the FAFSA" day for CA hit; doesn't have to be painful but I do understand your aversion!! Take care, Lois
Green I love bright colors. Blue accessories would look nice. I like the idea of scarf and or cardigan. Also you can always add a skinny belt.
