I bought her some flowers for Mother's Day; she and Dad have some really nice patio areas at their house and they always like more flowers for that, so I got her some pink and purple petunias.
I've been arguing with her for a while now about trying a frappe. She doesn't drink coffee, but she likes to drink cappuccinos (the instant kind) and I really think she'd like a frappe if she had one that wasn't overly coffee-saturated. I think she'd really love the ones from McDonald's, and I've been trying to convince her to get one. She always says, "But if I get it and I don't like it, then I've wasted all that money!" So I bought her a gift card with my own all that money - and told her it is to be ONLY spent on a frappe.
And this is the gift card selection in Marion for the month of May. Seriously???? A SNOWMAN?
As usually happens, my birthday shares a day with Mother's Day. (My actual birthday wasn't on Mother's Day, but the celebrations combined. Mom got me an ice cream cake because she knows I LOVE them.
Yep. That's my piece!
They also got me a balloon (because I also adore balloons) and it has a forever long string on it. Braeya was SO excited when I brought it home because she can paw at it and it bounces around on the ceiling. Seriously. Doesn't take much to amuse her!
And that was Mother's Day/my birthday celebration, part one! Then I came home and TOOK A NAP!
