HEY. Don't stop reading just because I used the word "Christmas" before Thanksgiving. If you've not
paid attention to my little ticker up above here...there aren't that many days left before Christmas arrives. Time to start thinking about some SHOPPING.
My family asked for my Christmas list, so I finished it up this past weekend. It's kind of a wimpy, pathetic list, but nonetheless...a list.
First up...totally not necessary but totally cute:

I rather hope, though, if I get that wish fulfilled...the present-buyer gets me an actual PAIR of boots. Perhaps I should have specified that.
Then...yet one more item I swore I'd wait to get until I got married, but I actually need it now. Well.
Need might be a strong statement. But cooking would be much easier with a decent set of knives!

Because I've decided pancakes need to be alternated with waffles...

Because I've turned into a pitiful adult who actually PUT these on a list...what has HAPPENED to me???

And while it's not a present I'll get from anyone else, I really would love this most of all for Christmas...

Or I might have to resort to one of these for the winter:

That's my pitiful list. What do you want for Christmas?

haha I was like this isn't a sports post!
NEXT post is sports, silly.
Ooh. Your list is great. Everyone needs some good knives. And towels. Not so sure about the waffle iron for me, but for you, absolutely!
The rain boots might be a good idea for me. It's raining now, and I have to wear the falling-apart shoes so I don't ruin the brand-new shoes in the rain.
I've also started looking for a new laptop for Santa to bring me, because some of the keys on my keyboard don't want to type. The "M" in particular often needs for me to go back and hit it multiple times before it actually registers on the screen. So far, I found an intriguing Dell, the Inspiron Duo that's a laptop and tablet combination. That MIGHT go on my list, but I haven't decided just yet.
Does your "M" key ever warm up? My "D" key sticks when I first start using the laptop but after a while it comes around. (Sometimes a little TOO well!!)
You've had that laptop for a while, haven't you? You're due for Santa to drop off a new one, I'd say!
Bekah,
My "M" key doesn't warm up ("T" is trouble sometimes too). It just refuses to respond to glancing blows, so I have to be sure I'm giving it direct hits. It's not good for my overall typing speed.
Yes, my current laptop is 4-1/2 years old. I got it just before I quit my job prior to the trip with my mom. I've decided not to get the Inspiron Duo, which leaves a whole lot of possibilities available to me. The people at Best Buy kept pushing the Mac, but I resist stubbornly. I don't care how much people like theirs, I'm not about to change now.
I've never gotten into macs either - though all my friends who have one totally swear by them! (not AT them)
