Guess who made it to Hobby Lobby?!?!?!
I bought a couple spring-inspired items and finished decorating the house for the season. Then I took pictures that would make any home décor blogger cringe. I wanted to sit and fuss with the arrangement and lighting and such, but I had a very narrow window of time that still had daylight involved, so I have what I have, and it's okay! You can still appreciate that, right?
I had my eye on these signs from Hobby Lobby, and I was able to get one tonight! I only went for it because it's double-sided. The other side says
Hello, Spring!
(I think one of the hardest things about decorating for spring is that the day falls all over the place on the calendar, so the amount of time you can actually use
Easter décor vs.
spring décor can vary so greatly!)
Anyway. That sign was pretty much my new favorite thing.
This wreath isn't new at all. I have owned it since before Ryan and I got married, I think. But I still love it!
I got these flowers at the Dollar Tree a few years ago, and I added a few to the vase in the foyer. (The fresh flowers are in a white pitcher vase in the kitchen...spreading the spring love.)
My mom painted this ceramic basket way back when I was a kid. I think it belonged to either my grandma or great-grandma, and I inherited it in the division of things. I enjoy putting it out on display at Easter! I think after Easter this year, I'm going to look for some neutral colored plastic eggs.

Found this little egg pail decoration at Hobby Lobby, so I put it out on the sun porch. No sun yesterday, so it wasn't super warm! But it still looked pretty out there!
I liked the way this one turned out! More Dollar Tree flowers in a metal vase, surrounded by colorful eggs on a metal tray! Even on the gray days, this brightens up the place!

This will be the front door wreath once Easter is over! For now, it's on the office door.
That's the extent of the decorating for this year, but I am so happy to see it brightening up the house!

I love your new sign! I think that I had the exact same wreath that you have on your front door. The eggs kept coming off of it so I think I threw it away. I like how it looked- those eggs were just driving me crazy :).
Maria - Thank you! AND YES!!! Those eggs are rotten little suckers. I've had to reinstall a few myself. (And I think one may be permanently lost.)
