The Saturday Six

One.

This may be an all-time record on forgetting to renew your license plates. The excuse, though....seriously? That was the best he could do?

Two.

I've talked often on this blog about Lindsay Letters art, created by the very talented Lindsay Sherbondy. We have a few pieces in our home, and I really love them. She has an Easter piece that I fell so in love with - and Ryan told me to go ahead and order it! I meant to share this when I did the spring décor post earlier this week, but I forgot, so I'll share it here! This is the piece! Also - if you don't follow her on social media, you should go read her story from the last few months. Last summer, her daughter (I forget her exact age - but she's in elementary school) fell off a golf cart for reasons no one has ever been able to determine, and she's been in a very slow state of recovery ever since. They can't figure out if she had a medical issue that caused the fall or what happened. She was an active and healthy girl, and to fall like she did was not a normal thing. After months of hospitals and rehab and home care for their daughter, Lindsay and her husband got away a few weeks ago for a short tip to Mexico, and before they had even been there a full day, Lindsay became very ill with a kidney infection. She had to be rushed back to the states and was hospitalized for several days. What a journey they have been on, and yet I have appreciated reading about their continued faith even in the trials!

Three.

I've mentioned on here before that whenever possible, I've been buying essential oils from Selah Essential oils. I find the quality to be more than satisfactory, the prices a bit lower, and I love their mission. They don't have quite as many options as Young Living (which is where I got my essential oils start), nor do they have products beyond oils (like cleaning supplies) so sometimes I do still order from Young Living, but I get what I can from Selah. This week, I found this really helpful post on their site that talks about antifungal/antibacterial/antimicrobial oils and how they're different AND why it's important to rotate what you use! Maybe you can learn a thing or two also! (PS - the link for the oils company above is a referral link, so if you do choose to use their products and sign up with that link, I receive a reward on my account. Just so you know!)

Four.

A list of America's best small towns, state by state. I started to fear the only one I was going to be able to mark off my mental list was the town in Indiana, but at the very end, I realized I'd also been the winner in Tennessee and Virginia, too! YAY! Several of these are on our bucket list, though!

Five.

I'm not sure if your stores have any fresh vegetables left, but if they do, and you need a healthy twist on St. Patrick's Day food, check out this ombre green veggie tray!

Six.

Whether your church isn't meeting for the next few weeks or your kids are home from school and you need some new ideas, these Bible story bags are pretty cute!

Selah oils have been my go to spot since the first time you mentioned them. In addition to your comments about their lovely blends and great articles and wonderful miss, the always write a lovely note of encouragement with each order shipped. Oh, and I hit 22 of the small towns list—when I did more traveling, going off the road more traveled was my mantra and I discovered some lovely spots to see. Stay well, Lois

Tamar - Thank you! I'm excited to get it! Have they given you a tentative re-open date yet?

Lois - Oh I'm so happy you like them too! And yes! I love the packaging and the note. I really look forward to receiving them because it's like a present! GREAT JOB on 22 towns!!
