Good morning! Happy Saturday to you!
😊 Hope today is a beautiful one for you. We are very much
looking forward to this day and the fun things we have planned! (Starting with
sleeping in!) I might still be sleeping, but here are some things for you!
ONE.
What a beautiful surprise to see Natalie Grant on the cover
of People magazine! The article is about her daughter and a near-fatal experience with an
asthma attack. I remember the many trips we made to the hospital to see Ryan’s
mom during asthma attacks, and it’s true that there were times we weren’t sure
she would make it through them. For some, it can be so critical! Whether or not
you’re a Natalie Grant music fan, I absolutely encourage you to read this and
learn about how scary asthma really can be!
TWO.
We have a couple of HUGE basil plants in our garden, and I
really want to preserve some of what we’ve grown to use this winter. I’ve dried
some of the leaves and crushed them up for my spice rack, but I also like this idea of freezing them in oil cubes! Any of you tried this
before – or have another great idea for preservation?
THREE.
Would you stay in these
sleeping tents? I think they’re pretty cute, honestly. I don’t know if it
would be too rustic for me or not, but I find it intriguing to consider!
FOUR.
I am not ready for fall yet – though I did purchase a fall
sign for our bathroom yesterday. (Looks brand new and I got it for three dollars
at the thrift store!) But I saw this and thought it was so cute: an
apple cider bar! Ryan loves apple cider, and we always get some at least
once in the fall. This could really step up our game! If you’re planning ahead
for fall parties, here you go!
FIVE.
I have pondered changing up my email address – just because
yahoo isn’t always the best connecting email for everything. But oh goodness.
Such a daunting task. So I’m sharing this
one probably more to save it for myself than anything else. But if you’re
thinking of making a new email and you don’t want to lose messages, check out this
tutorial on how to make the switch!
SIX.
This
donut trail isn’t so far from us. Ryan??? Wanna go on a date?? 😊 I feel like this adventure should include several people,
because otherwise that is a lottttttttttttttttttttttttttttta donuts at one
time. How about you? Ever done a donut trail?
