Saturday Suggestions: Inspirations for Your Weekend

It has been quite a week over here. I’ll have to tell you about it sometime, but for now, I’ll share with you some extremely random finds for your weekend. Enjoy! Maybe one of them will spark a dream in you. 😊

ONE.

This short video tour of a tiny house (not a true “tiny house” but a small one) is adorable. I love the layout! Lori, you are going to adore this one. BONUS: If tiny isn’t your gig, here’sa much bigger house for sale – that was featured on Season 4 of Fixer Upper!

TWO.

This article was fun to read, but I confess I was hoping it was a video news article, because I am not even sure how to pronounce some of these! Indiana, you have some strange towns. (Which one would you vote for as hardest to pronounce?)

THREE.

If you need a HEAP of encouragement and an even bigger heap of quotes to jot down in your journal or hang on your wall, read thispiece by Ann Voskamp. And then read it again. And a third time. SO much good stuff in here. So much. Be encouraged and have a fresh offering of hope today.

FOUR.

To be fair, I have not made any of these, and I’m sure some of them are not on the healthier end of things. But I love copycat recipes, and there are some good ideas on it. Homemade Samoas and Tagalongs? Pop Tarts? Yes!!! (I had a homemade Pop Tart once from the Farmer’s Market. It was pretty amazing.)

FIVE.

Did you know you can have yourown custom branding iron made? Your summer cookouts can get a whole lot fancier with personalized branded hamburger buns!

SIX.

Maybe I’ve shared this one before, but even if I have, it’s still intriguing to me. The post is old enough that I’m confident the prices are no longer accurate, but the idea of seeing THIS much of the USA in such a short time is still amazing to me. Hmmm….
