So....this time they weren't wrong. The snow they predicted...happened.
Sunday morning, we made the decision to stay home from church even though ours wasn't cancelled. We really thought ours WOULD call off, so we didn't get up in time to get ready and go. But it was SO LOVELY to have a day of rest at home.
Started out with some biscuits and homemade butters given to us by Ryan's brother and his wife at Christmas. It was the perfect little Sunday morning breakfast!!
We rested for the morning...I did a little scrapbooking...and then we had lunch, and for dessert...SNOW ICE CREAM!!! I'd never done that before, but someone mentioned it on Facebook and then of course, I
had to have it....
And while I was mixing it up...I got the call that work was canceled for Monday!! {The air-staff still had to go in...bless their hearts!!}
He liked it!!
I drank mine...it was like a snow milkshake!
Then...we went out to build a snowman. I do believe this was my first-ever snowman!

The snow was very wet and heavy. Great for snowman-building. Not so great for power lines!!

And as for our little girl? Well she enjoyed having us home. Because that means...LUNCH!!!

We spent the rest of the day curled up in the living room, watching it snow, watching football, and enjoying our chance to be TOGETHER.

Awww thanks! We do have a lot of fun together!! He's a sweetheart!
That looks like a really fun day! The best days are ones where it's too awful out to go to work (or wherever) but still nice enough to enjoy being outside for a bit. It looks like this was one of those days :)
