* Monday evening, Mom and Dad stopped by for a little bit while they were in town. Now that I work out of town, I don't see them too much anymore. So we had a good talk and then I settled in to watch a combo of The Voice and football. Fell asleep. Clearly both were riveting...
* Tuesday night I did NOT feel well, so I stayed in my chair the entire night and made some serious headway on my scrapbooks. I've been so busy lately that I'd fallen dreadfully behind in my scrapping. Never fear...I'm catching up!!
* Wednesday I came home sick from work - which never happens. Took about a 3 hour nap smack in the middle of the day and took it easy the rest of the night. No time to be sick before this race, I tell you! (Sickness also contributed to the lack of photos this week. Good grief. This is pitiful!)
* Thursday night, I was like a whole new woman!! I cleaned and did laundry and grocery shopping and a ton of other chores. AND I had time to sit and watch the season premiere of Grey's with Rachel Ashley....just like old times!! And I had some help with the laundry...
* Friday (well, you already read about Friday...) I went with Jeri from my work (the one who talked me into the race to begin with) to pick up these bad boys!!!
* And yesterday, my dear DEAR people...was RACE DAY!!!!!!!!!! I will tell you much more about it tomorrow, but here is a picture I am so proud of...me after completing my 6.2 miles!! This is more than a running picture. This is an example of me tackling something I never, in a million years, thought I had it within me to do. It was jumping a huge personal heart-hurdle. Can't wait to tell you more!
