Anniversary Photo Love

So....I know I haven't told you about our adventures ON our actual anniversary, but I gotta show you these pictures! Every year, as you may or may not remember, we recreate the same handful of wedding pictures, and then I make a little collage to show the journey of us. Normally we just use our tripod for these photo shoots, but our friend Nate had offered us a photo shoot since I helped him with his family pictures a few weeks ago. I asked if he would be willing to do the shoot for us, and he said YES. He's a friend of Ryan's from PTA school, and they have a blast together. I had to get this picture of them before we left that day.

Nate was amazing - we only had about a half hour to squeeze these pictures in between the time he got off work and the time it became too dark to take pictures. And he rushed to get them - and still paid attention to each detail of the pictures we recreated. This was my favorite. I just adore this one.

And while this one was not one of our recreated poses, I love this one too!!

And then I made this with all our  monthiversary pictures from 2015. We've been asked when we plan to give up celebrating monthiversaries. Uh, don't plan to!

Anniversary Misc.

Last year I started a tradition of recreating some of our wedding pictures! We did it again this year - right outside our hotel. Wanna see?

We had so much fun doing those!!!

Fun Pictures

I've seen on Pinterest {of course...where else?} the idea of recreating wedding pictures on your anniversary.

So even though I'm pretty sure Ryan thought I was absolutely crazy, we did that last Monday!! Wanna see? {Click on any picture to see a bigger version.}

Ryan's mom took the 2012 version of this photo as we were making our way into our room at the resort last year following our tiny reception. So we had to recreate it at our hotel this past weekend! She wasn't there this time, so we had to do the tripod version...

 We stopped at a Christmas tree farm on our way home from our weekend getaway, so we used that backdrop to substitute the beach. No barefoot version this time!

 The 2012 version of this picture is one of our favorite wedding pics. We have it in a huge print on our bedroom wall. I think the updated one turned out pretty well, considering we were photographing blindly with a tripod!

 Trees are trees, right? Palm...evergreen...

 This one was Ryan's idea. CRACKED me up.
