Pausing

 

I had planned to write about the second half of our monthiversary. I was going to show you pictures of all the fun we had biking around the Island and people-watching. I still will do all those things, but not today.

                Today I’m pausing.

                I’m pausing because I always pause on this day to remember 9/11, and today will be no different.

                I’m pausing because this has been a disorienting week near and far, and it doesn’t feel like the right time or place to do anything besides pause.

                My words in this corner of the web are few today. I’ll be back tomorrow, but for today, I’ll sit with thoughts and remembrance.
