Sixty-Eight

Tomorrow is my parents' 68th wedding anniversary. That's 816 months, in case you want to know.

(They were clearly married VERY young, right?)

It feels like a very rare thing for a couple to be married 68 years. If I make it to that milestone, I'll be 102 years old. I suppose it's possible, but the potential for much quality of celebration seems minimal. ;)

This is one of the milestones we celebrated last week when we went to Shipshewana for our family getaway. I thought I'd share a few pictures of them today in honor of tomorrow's big event!

And one from a few weeks ago when they came to visit/see Lexi:

Happy anniversary, Mom and Dad! Thanks for setting forth an example of perseverance in good times and in bad!

We love you!

Ryan, Bekah, Braeya, Lexi

Happy Anniversary to your parents Bekah! You're very blessed to still have both parents with you. My parents would have been married for 68 years as well, this past August 13th. The Lord blessed them with 60 years. Dad passed away 8 years ago. He would have turned 90 this coming Oct. 2nd. Mom just turned 86. She and Dad eloped on Mom's 18th birthday! So thankful that they both showed the love of Christ to me and my siblings always, as you have said about yours also. God bless you all, Lisa
