Lights!!

First - if I may - I'd like to take a quick trip down memory lane! 

It was on this day, nine years ago, that Ryan and I began our pilgrimage to Florida to get married! I've said it before, but I'll say it again (probably every year) for the rest of time: I cannot believe I was genuinely okay with arriving at our destination one day before the wedding. I cannot believe I went to WORK on this day nine years ago. I sure did. Worked the whole morning, drove home, hopping in Ryan's car, and headed to Florida. Crazy. 

That trip was its own brand of crazy that we hope to never duplicate - hello, three-hour traffic jam! But it began a beautiful trip and a beautiful life together that we are still so, so grateful for. 

I'll reminisce about that trip today for sure, but in the meantime, I'll show you pictures from our trip through the Fantasy of Lights this past weekend! We decorated WillowBridge together as a community and after we were done with our work, we headed to a park in Fort Wayne that has a great light display! It's definitely a different experience to go with the whole building than it is to go with just Ryan. (LOTS of song requests coming from the tenants.) But we had a great time, and the lights were so pretty! Wanna see a few?

I didn't get to sit with Ryan on this trip, so he's promised to take me through some other light displays yet this season that might resemble more of a date. ;) 

But whether or not I'm sitting beside him and whether or not it's a loud-song-filled experience, I love some lights!!
