Need some ideas for your Thanksgiving table? Centerpieces? Place settings? Tablescapes? KariAnne has you covered!
Two.
Fun, embarrassing, random fact from Bekah's former life. (AKA junior high.) I used to tuck in my shirts. ALL of them. Even the sweatshirts. Tucked in and worn with a belt, actually. Oh what an embarrassment I was to my own self, and I didn't even know it. Because of that mental shame, and because of my tendency to carry all superfluous weight squarely in my belly, I almost never tuck in a shirt anymore. But if you're wondering when you should fully tuck in a shirt, only tuck in the front, tie the front, or just let the shirt hang loose, here's a guide from someone with NO superfluous belly fat.
Three.
As you may remember, Ryan planned an amazing Beauty and the Beast themed party for my 40th birthday. This week I found this post about another Beauty and the Beast themed event. Beautiful table. (I had no idea some of this stuff was so expensive!) I'm still partial to Ryan's party for me, but I enjoyed reading about this one!

A week or two ago, I told you about my friend Brent Vernon, who is starting to release art pieces for Christmas based on sketches he's done in years past. He released a new one this week and I'm so smitten with it, I ordered it for our home pronto. It's called Welcome, Jesus, and you can find it here. (So many people have asked him about having it as a Christmas card option, he's working on making that possible too!)

If you're planning a Christmas party for this year, and you need an activity, this could be fun! Have a contest where everyone makes their own ugly Christmas "sweater." (You cut sweater shapes from felt and use whatever gaudy little sequins and pompoms you have to decorate.) You can give a prize for the
Six.
I love this idea for a Christmas gift for a neighbor or co-worker! (Since I don't have co-workers, we'll go with neighbors.)

What a great blog this morning, Bekah! So many great ideas for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas Season. I know what I'm giving the Pastors and their families at church this year. I love, love, love the Dustpan Cookies idea! They all enjoy the cookies I share with them periodically. I will purchase some new dustpans at the Dollar Tree and fill them up with cookies this year! The Welcome Jesus cards sound great as well. I always like to be different in my card selections each year.Haven't gotten to the point of making up Christmas letters yet but these would be Christmas cards. I look forward to your blog daily but today has just really given me some great ideas. Thank you for taking the time to share each day!
Who knew there were such detailed shirt tucking rules!
Love the dustpan cookies!
Marsha - Well thank you so much!! I appreciate you stopping by to read and I'm so glad you found a good idea! :)
Tamar - Clearly I didn't know about the shirt tucking. I still prefer to just have t-shirts and jammie pants on the couch!
