I wear a lot of flip flops in the summer - including times I probably shouldn't, like all day shopping trips and parades. Whoopsie! So a couple of Ryan's patients had told him about these Go Walk shoes made by Skechers, and we hunted them down. They're more than I like to pay for shoes {I'm sort of a Payless clearance budget gal} but they are incredibly comfortable, very light weight, and good for the casual, long-haul day. I'm a fan!

HOW I've not told you this before, I'm sure I don't know. One of the most creative wedding gifts we got was from my friend Olivia. She gave Ryan and me each a picture frame. She'd embellished mine with the words "My Redemption" and his with "My Reward." {That's what we call each other when we tell our love story.} Then she gave us each 12 envelopes. Inside was a photo card she'd made for each month of the year. Between my blog and Facebook page, she'd gathered enough pictures of the two of us to make the photo cards and each month's card matches the holiday or season for that month. We've LOVED opening up the new card on the first of each month and have these frames beside our beds! GREAT GIFT.

We don't often take staff pictures at work, but we did this week. We're missing a few - because you know, it's summer. People take vacations. :) I would like to point out that I am the only genius in the sunshine who bothered to wear her sunglasses. They asked if I blinked for the picture. I'll never tell.

I'm NO good at poetry - but this style of doing things made me giggle. If I could have taken a class in this in college - I might have survived.

I love the intercessory prayer idea and the spine poetry. And Olivia's wedding gift to you is beyond amazing. So sweet.
I thought you might like that first one!!! :)
