The Shafferland Shuffle

* Last Sunday we went to church, but I was still feeling a little rough-ish. When we came home, I pretty much hit the couch/bed/floor for the rest of the day. We had been invited to a Super Bowl party but I just felt way too icky to leave home, so we made our own buffalo chicken and buffalo chicken mac n cheese...and watched at home. By the end of the game I was under a blanket in Ryan's lap, feeling really sick!! Nevertheless, I persevered to the end of the game. Wanted to be a good football wife!

* Monday I got up, got ready, and made it all the way to the other side of town before declaring I was too sick to last all day. I turned around, came home, and went back to the couch, where I proceeded to spend the day alternately sleeping, scrapbooking, and catching up on my DVR'd shows. And downing echinacea.

* Tuesday I got up, packed Ryan's lunch, and determined that activity to be as exhausting as level 2 of the 30 Day Shred - so I turned my little self right around and went back to bed. As the day went along, I started to feel better, so I got up and worked on some scrapbooking...and some details for our wedding reception. Much to do in a short amount of time!

* Wednesday I returned to the land of the living...and was so excited to add a new picture to my desk.  I realized the only photo of Ryan that existed on my desk was a profile of us kissing. And while his ear is 30 kinds of handsome...I thought perhaps it was time to add a photo in which you could see HIS FACE.

* Thursday I went to work solely because I wanted to do the BLT show with Lynne. After all, I had a present for her! My friend Faith found this Christmas ornament on clearance and got it for us. LOVE IT!!

As the day went on, I felt progressively worse, so I was quite glad to come home and rest the WHOLE night long.

* Friday I woke up feeling like a new woman (WOO HOOOOOOO!!!) and went to work where I shared the show with Lynne again - and we talked to the Dating Divas! Have you ever checked out their site? It's so cool! Tons of dating ideas...love it!! It inspires most of what I do for Ryan!
* Saturday evening, Ryan and I hosted a little dinner for my parents and his dad and step-mom. {We were sad his mom and step-dad weren't able to join us too!} We had dinner and showed them our wedding video...and it was so much fun! We really enjoyed having them over!
