Shaking my Head

My background on my monitor at work is the picture of my niece, Cassie, with President Bush. You know - from her graduation? The other day a visitor to my office looked at the picture and said to me, "Oh, you a fan of SNL?"

Ummmmm....no....that's the real President. As in the one that runs the nation.

OOOH! And I just remembered something else I was going to say. This morning I read an article somewhere that talked about daylight savings (my favorite topic second only to Wal Mart). The end of the article mentioned the upcoming election for our governor - and how some still hold a grudge against him for instituting this in our fine state. (Let the record show - I'm not one of those. I'm just vocally annoyed.) Anyway, the last sentence said something like Guess that's what happens when you take away an hour of sleep a night for 8 months. Mmm hmmm. You know it! 240 hours of lost sleep that I shall never recover, because even if I take a 3 hour nap every Sunday, it would take me 80 Sundays to catch up...but by then I'm into another round of 240 lost hours.

I'm sleep-deprived so often that after a day or two, I hardly notice the difference after Spring Forward. And then October (well, November this year) comes and I get extra sleep!

So here's the deal folks. How many of you would be interested in seeing a Bekah at Walmart reality show?

We would follow her from when she leaves home and then enters the store. We would then go with her for every turn of the cart and then the best...waiting in line.

But it wouldn't stop there...we would then go with her in her car back to the homefront. AND then we would take the time to record the phone call she makes to her Mom as she complains about every customer she encountered.

What are your thoughts?

Skyepuppy - Maybe I can one day learn to put aside my dstb (daylight savings torture bitterness) and embrace it gracefully (aka - not notice it anymore.) :) Enjoy that beautiful extra hour you get!

CHRIS!!!!!!! You're starting up a conspiracy!! Trust me - you do NOT want to see such a documentary.

do you suppose having daylight savings just days before the election could lead voters into thinking negatively of Gov. Daniels? I still like the guy.
