The Strange Things I Do...

Can't even really believe that I am going to admit this in print, but here goes.

I can't really go into the details of it, but a lot of stuff has been going on in my world lately. Said stuff leaves me in a rotation of hope turning to sadness turning to questions turning to hurt, sometimes moving to anger, and then back to hope again. Basically I wear myself out running from one to the next. I know it's just a time I have to work through and that's fine...I'll do it. But every now and then, I need a break from it.

Last night I was talking to one of my friends online and about every fourth or fifth message, there would be a new game link for me to try. I'm a little disturbed that my favorite one was a game called "Snot Put." (PLEASE bear in mind this is an online game, NOT a real life game.) You pick the snot out of the nose, whirl it around, fling it, and see how far it goes. I know. GROSS. It truly was. But ADDICTING. I kept trying to beat my best fling, all the while saying, "WHY am I playing this? I am thirty and I have class. And yet I'm flinging virtual snot."

It did relieve some tension, though.

And in another game, I learned that without practice, I can type the alphabet in 6.133 seconds. I bet I could shave some serious time off that with a few tries.

So that was my stress reliever for the night...snot put, alphabet typing...and I concluded by singing a duet with David Phelps. (He was on the TV. HELLO!!! Do you think I'd be this calm about it if he'd been in person???)

I had to look up David Phelps in Google. I don't think I've heard him before.

Well, Google told me about a YouTube of him singing O Holy Night. Do I care that it's May and not December? Not a bit. You can listen (and eveb sing along) here:

I think I'll pass on the snot flinging, though.

Skyepuppy - I would respond but i'm currently receiving breathing aid....don't know David Phelps????

I have to sit down.....

....oh wait. I am.

I'll have to wait until no one is around to watch the o holy night...because that is one of my faves that he does and i might have to sing loud.

okay back to breathing.....
