Party Time!

My friends (and Mom helped) threw me a really fun party for my birthday. I still don't have a bunch of the pictures, so there might be more to come, but here is a sampling of the evening. We had great food (pigs in blankets, meatballs, nacho cheese dip with chips, pasta salad, veggie tray, deviled eggs...YUM!) and it was topped off by some Flour Child Cupcakes made by Miss Sarah herself. Very very scrumptious, those cupcakes. Oh, and ice cream!

Here's one of my gifts - which I realize is doubling as a questionable hand gesture. Mom and Dad gave me a ring. It's the one on my middle finger, hence the reason the entire hand is out....

The very slow extinguishing of the candles. Mom was trying to get a picture from across the room and was having camera troubles, so I was trying to blow out the candles slowly - but there were only two!! Dad must have gotten bored waiting - I see him in the background there no longer paying rapt attention.
