Sunday Snapshots: Memorable Moments from the Week

Good morning! How has your weekend gone? Our day yesterday was full and fulfilling at the same time, rounding out a really good week! Here is a little peek at some of my favorite moments.

The week started with us still on vacation, and probably the most memorable part of last Sunday was our UTV adventure, which I’ve already told you about. It was certainly an adventure, and one I’m so glad we got through safely!

We managed one last hike before heading home. It was a little scary for this not-a-fan-of-heights girl. We were a couple hundred feet up, near cliffs, on wet rocks. I took careful to new heights! So glad we did this one, though.

Is there anything better than being reunited with our sweet Lexi girl? A complete joy of our week was welcoming her home and getting back to our routines! All three of us are all about routine, and we all needed it, I think.

One of our summer fun adventures this week was taking a walk to the gas station to get hard dipped ice cream from their ice cream counter. (When your town doesn’t have an ice cream store, you go to the gas station and pretend it’s an ice cream store.) It was a decent walk, and the three of us had so much fun with it!

Meeting those June goals has been a big part of this week! I’m working my way through this book right now, and I’ll tell you more about it later this month. Reading for an hour a day is a good discipline for me, I think!

Inspiration took over me (via Pinterest and YouTube) and I shopped the house to refresh our kitchen! I will tell you more about it next week, but I love some of the swaps I made throughout the house to bring fun things into our kitchen space! (This is one of the before pictures...)

We hosted small group last night, and though the weather was less than summery, we bundled up and took a boat ride at the end of the night. Sweet Lexi Grae was ready to drive the boat. Made me smile.

                Enjoy your day, my friends!
