One.
I enjoyed this resource from Barbara Rainey about how to prepare for Easter. Even if you don't dive into all these ideas this year, it would be great to keep on hand for years to come. She does have an excellent point: we spend so much time preparing for Christmas, but we don't spend nearly as much time on Easter!
Two.
I've contemplated keeping a hard copy travel journal for our adventures with Abby. This post has some great ideas for things to keep and preserve in just such a journal! (Any of you ever do a travel journal?)
Three.
If you're intrigued by the idea of a capsule wardrobe but never quite know how to mix and match the outfits, this blogger has a free download that shows you how she makes her outfits from her staples. I always like seeing what people mix up - just for fun! Even if I don't use the exact pieces, I get some inspiration!
Four.
Have any of you tried Crumbl Cookies? I learned about them (through Instagram, I think) and I really really want to try them! If you need to drool, go check out their flavors. And then check back often because some of the flavors rotate.
Five.
This post is a few years old, but I saw it on Pinterest and loved it. Bedrooms can be kind of plain (because as the blogger states, they really are just empty boxes) and when the space is small that can make it even more challenging. Even though this is a few years old, I am still think her ideas to make it pretty AND functional are really well done. I like it! My favorite part is how the bed kind of nestles in between the two closet storage areas she made.
Six.
Did you know you could look up the places Guy Fieri has visited on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives...by state? I didn't know that! (Maybe I am the last to know.) This is the link to the Indiana page,, but all the states are in the green bar to the left if you want to look at a different state. We've actually only been to one of the places on the Indiana list. Looks like we have some visiting to do!!

I have heard of Crumbl cookies - so creative! So cool to look up the DD&D locations!
That Easter celebrations page had a lot of great links to free resources!
I think That would be need to have a travel journal with you on your trips so you can write about your experiences.
OK, I have to laugh… I have seen that bedroom makeover before, and I think it was something you’ve linked to in the past! I know I have seen that one! I was having a déjà vu! Too funny! OK, do not spend your weekend trying to find your blog post that may have included that link in the past! LOL!
You must have a journal for Abby. You should include where you stayed, space number, cost, weather, who was with you, what animals you saw, other spaces you would like to try and then the journal of your time there. We also included milage and how the drive was and if we would drive there differently.
This way if you want to go back to a place you have all that info and you have the journal of your adventures also. It came in really handy and we would have so much fun rereading our adventures.
My sister gave me Crumbl Cookies just this week. Soo good! Definitely recommend the peanut butter and jelly one!
Tamar - They make me drool just looking at them!
Tracy - That's hilarious! And it's also why I typically don't link to things from years ago...because I have no idea if I already did. I guess I REALLY liked it, if I did it twice!
Katie - Great ideas! I feel a binder coming on....
Just Jillian - That one absolutely fascinates me. I would love to try that one! (And all of them. Let's be honest - ha!)
You really like the bedroom makeover: http://bekahsbits.blogspot.com/2020/05/the-saturday-six_16.html But it's so cute because I totally remember it and love what they did!
