Saturday was our 57th monthiversary, and Ryan worked a very long day. Even longer than a normal work day. Phoebe and I went to work to wait on him, and as we were leaving, I told one of his co-workers that it was our monthiversary. I could tell it was a new term for her, so I explained the whole thing, and she said she thought it was adorable.
I'll take it! :)
It seems like here in central Indiana, September 1 brought fall. I know it won't last, and warmer temps are due back (today, actually) but those first couple of days were pretty crisp! So we started our monthiversary with a walk. (Miss Pheebs has to have a potty walk every morning.)
It reminded me of the start of our wedding day, 57 months earlier. (Except that day was a lot warmer, and I was a brunette.
So Ryan went to work, and Pheebs and I had a scrapbooking day at home. Ryan came home for lunch, but he couldn't stay long, and when he left, Phoebe was so sad, she laid down by the door and pouted. Couldn't blame her, so I joined her.
We topped off the evening with a walk; the weather had warmed up to perfection!
Not quite as warm as this walk, though:
Fifty-seven months, and still crazy about each other! Sorry we had to be apart so much for the day, but I loved our evening together!
