From Bubbles to Birdwatching

After Amber and I finished our photo scavenger hunt in the park, we stayed a while longer just having some relaxing fun.

Hard to believe I was a shy child, isn't it?That was my imitation of running down the hill...the hills are aliiiiiiive. (I didn't really sing it out loud. I promise.)
Then we went to sit by the river, relax, and blow bubbles. Yes...a continuation of the inner 2 year old...The wind kept changing directions, so we ate as many bubbles as we successfully blew...So I gave up and tried the spinning method. Yeah I was dizzy after about two spins...Proof that Amber really was there!
Bubble!!
Before we went home, we became fascinated by this massive bird that flew in and then walked down the river and went fishing. He caught a couple, too!
As we walked back to the car, we decided it's a certain kind of pathetic to go from bubbles to birdwatching all in one afternoon. :)

Hi Bekah! I am a listener on WBCL and I stopped by the WBCL website to enter for the party package. I saw that you have a blog so I hopped on over!

First off, I love your name! We have a Rebekah that we call Bekah for short!

Secondly...I love listening to you and Lynn on the radio. I listen mostly on Wednesdays when shuttling our homeschooled kiddos to and from piano lessons. I really enjoyed today's broadcast with Tammie Imel! I love that house! (I saw the article and pictures in the paper months ago.)

Well, I just wanted to stop by and say hello! I read that you like to cook and I thought you might enjoy a few recipes over at my blog. (I'll have a cookbook (an ebook) coming out soon!)

Blessings,
Carmen

Carmen - Hello new friend! I'm so glad you stopped by! I love meeting new people!

So glad to hear you like to hang out with Lynne and me when you can. Lynne is a DELIGHT beyond words (as I'm sure you know) and it is not something I take lightly that I get to spend my work days (and sometimes more) with her!

I'm really glad you know what that house looks like - the one downfall of radio; we couldn't share that part with most people. That is one AMAZING house. Wow. I'm still in awe.

And now I'm headed to your site to check out your recipes.Thank you so much for sharing with me!

Stop by anytime...so great to meet you!
