Scavenger Hunt in the Park

Last Friday, I embraced my inner preschooler. And. It. Was. So. Much. Fun.

My friend Amber took the afternoon off work and we spent most of it at the park! (She really was there...she's just not in any of these pictures because we each did our own set of pictures.) Well actually we started our day by eating pizza at my favorite Marion pizza place: Brooks Upper Crust. Oh MAN is that some good pizza!

I'd found an idea online for a photo scavenger hunt. So, armed with my trusty list, we set forth to find what treasures were to be had in the park.

Something made of wood. Duh! A tree! I promise they got more creative...Something purple. Oh man was this pretty!Something rectangle. The sole decorated picnic table in the entire park...
Something round. Amber said I should just use the paint job from the picnic table...but I decided to keep looking.
Something shorter than you. This bridge!
Something square: Diamonds are really squares...right?
Something striped. Amber found a flag and I thought I was out of luck. Thank goodness for construction!
Something taller than you. Rather handy that the Christmas light display was still up. (At least this one.)
Something that displays a rule. One I was afraid to get too close to!
Something that smells pretty. And this certainly did!
Something yellow. So pretty.
Something you can sit in. I know of some people who got married here. I don't think that's a half bad idea.
Something you use to play sports. Phats said I shouldn't just be sitting though. Woops.
Okay, I know a photo scavenger hunt is very elementary...but we had the most fun time! The weather was pretty perfect. Not a SINGLE cloud in the sky...not too hot, not too cold...gorgeous sun...and we spent about an hour in the park just wandering around looking for fun stuff! Loved it!
