But the newspaper clippings aren't laminated...and you know, I am getting up there in years. So it's time to preserve the yellowing paper. Plus, when I was born, all the albums were the "magnetic" pages that have since been condemned by scrapbook authorities worldwide. It was just as well. Mine had lost their magnetism and had all fallen apart anyway. So I've gathered up everything and started the scrapping project. So far, I'm still in the womb. Probably in five or six pages, I'll start making appearances in photos. (Although I did find a very fascinating one of Blogger Deb that I debated posting...but hesitated to do so if it would lead to her hating me.)
At the last minute, Mom found this picture, which I'm glad she found so that I have an excuse to use my "Baby's First Bath" stamp.
Having said that - I'm impressed with her patience. I would have returned me to the hospital and asked for a refund.

Does GameNight get a page?
Well not in my baby book. But absolutely yes in my current book! There are two so far - one for each night!
Ha...love the picture!! My guess it was taken...IN THE MORNING BEFORE YOUR 1ST BOTTLE (I know this because I've seen that look in you before)! ~Jaye~
I told Mom when she gave me the picture - that this is my reaction every morning when the alarm sounds....
It kind of cracks me up becuase I think this is the only picture of me crying that we have. I don't know if I really didn't cry a lot or if they just opted not to make those the Polaroid moments. (Personally I'm a fan of a good crying picture. Makes for good blackmail at graduation open houses.)
If we move back, can we have a scrapfest together? I have to get moving on Alex's book and need some company for motivation!
I would have taken you back to the hospital too!! LOL just kidding. Can you email me the pics of our game nights???
Amy - sure thing! Sometimes Laura, Sarah, Faith and I get together to scrap - and if we have one of those days, you're welcome to join us. Or we can do our own. Whatever floats your boat! :)
Nutz - You sure can. I will try to scan them in off my page, and if that doesn't work, I'll see if I have them on disc somewhere. Surely I do. It's on my list.
I would never have guessed that picture was of you. Wow...
I'm impressed. That looks like quite a fit you were throwing....and take it from me, I know fits.
Yeah - and I can still throw em, baby. ;) This is also my typical wal-mart checkout lane face.
