Well, friends, I’ve sorted through my Christmas pictures and
thought I’d share with you some of the fun of our day!
Christmas Day
was quite springlike around here. We had a beautiful morning here on the lake, and
then Ryan and I enjoyed our Christmas together at home!
We read Luke 2
(to Lexi) and exchanged our stockings.
Lexi went first
with the stocking and was so excited to find treats!
I gave Ryan his
stocking, which included a lot of candy and some socks – and an art kit! What!?
He made a comment in passing not long ago that he always wished he knew how to
paint, and now that we live on the lake, he feels like he should have this
skill. So I got him an art kit! Can’t wait to see what he creates!
My stocking had
some fun things in it as well!
But the best part came at the very end when he sent me on a scavenger hunt that ended with this gorgeous little kitchen herb greenhouse!! I found it at IKEA on our anniversary trip and managed not to impulse-buy it. And then I regretted it. Ryan secretly ordered it and surprised me with it!
After we had
our Christmas, we went for a walk, since it was so gorgeous out, and then it
was time to head to the family Christmas gatherings!
My family was
first! My sister and brother-in-law were there, along with my parents, of
course. We opened gifts and got some really fun stuff!
We went to see
Ryan’s grandpa, and he was having a really good day! So good to see him.
We ended the
day with another family Christmas on Ryan’s side, and then it was time to head
home (via coffee).
It was a long
day, but we were thankful for its goodness!

What a wonderful holiday together and with family!!
What a fun day for everyone. Bekah, you are wearing glasses??? That is new.
Tamar - It was a good day!
Katie - I am! They're just accessory glasses. So far, I'm still good without them. I just decided to switch it up a bit!
That looks like a very fun, and full, Christmas Day!
