The Saturday Six

One.
A few days ago, I shared a post about songs that have been meaningful to my life, and one of my favorite renditions of one of the songs was recorded by Selah. As I hunted for the link of the song to share in that post, I ran across this short interview with Nicol Sponberg, who used to be part of that group. I knew she and her husband had lost a baby son unexpectedly (about 12 years ago) but I had no idea about the rest of her story. Wow. Take a listen if you have just a few minutes. It's not a long interview.

Two.
I still think charcuterie boards are about the cutest thing in the world. And you know my undying love for all things s'mores. So THIS combo? Oh yes, please.

Three.
I know the whole concept of meal planning can be kind of intimidating if you're not used to doing it. It took me forever the first few times I did it! This post has some really great tips, actually, so if you're new at it (or just want to learn some new ideas), take a look!

Four.
DID YOU KNOW that the lines on a red plastic cup are actually measurement lines? I just learned that. Had no idea!

Five.
Tamar sent me this one - and I loved it that she thought of me when she saw it! Some Little House on the Prairie show trivia. I knew several, but there were some brand-new-to-me tidbits on here!

Six.
I don't have a garden OR a gate, but if I did, I would pick the giant colored pencils. THEY ARE SO CUTE! Those of you who are a bit more classic/classy than I am can pick any of the other equally adorable gate options. :)

That interview with Nicol Sponberg is powerful...and it introduced me to a new YouTube channel, too! Thanks!

My brother’s family refers to “on your own” meals as FFY...fend for yourself.

I could only see one page of the Little House article as well.

So sorry about the link! I think I fixed it. We're having a garage sale today, so I totally missed the mess up until just now.

Tracy - FFY!!! That is hilarious!!! I love it.

Teena - Welcome!! Marsha is a sweetie. We love her!! :)
