Kris - I love this song! Yes, a song I actually know. A Christmas miracle. I love the song and I love the way he sang it. I loved how he kicked it up in the middle there. That was fun. I kind of just melt into his songs and forget to pay attention to anything!! I agree with Randy...his personal best. I'm glad at least three of the four were thrilled with it. Simon!!!! Come on!!!
Allison - I love her hair this week. I know it isn't a hair competition, but I like the color and the longer look. MAN she can sing. Do I say that every week? I continue to be amazed at how comfortable she is on that stage and how well she controls her voice. I hope Kara is right - I hope she picks up a ton of fans. She has no business in the bottom 3. And if Simon's comment lands her there....RRRRRRR.
Matt - Well he was good...but I'm scared for him. There were a couple of parts that sounded kind of rough to me, and I'm worried that it wasn't enough in comparison to the two that have already gone. I do NOT understand how Simon loved it more than the other two. I really don't get it. I thought Kris and Allison were much better.
Danny - I just love Danny. I thought his song was fun and spunky - not to mention his great voice! I loved it that Randy was all ready to get him to sign on to a deal right then. I really really really want Danny to get himself a great little career going. I think he's got the package deal and that is important.
Adam - Oh no. Scary Adam is back. This reminds me of that one week early on that was just frightening up one side and down the other. :( Tsofah and I have already talked and agreed that he even had an evil kind of look at one point. Sorry, Christina and Sarah. I know you guys are huge fans. And I can be easily won over when he wears a suit and does the Elvis hair. But this week he skipped the Elvis hair and brought out his scary eyes....so I wasn't a fan.
Bottom 3? Well I only have a bottom 2, and it's Adam and Matt. I think Matt will be in the bottom 3 for sure. Tsofah thinks the other two will be Kris and Allison. I guess I'll go with her because I can't bring myself to make that decision at this point in time.

I think when it gets down to 5 they start doing just a bottom 2. I really hope Matt goes. Sure I don't like Adam, but he is really good. Allison was REALLY good tonight, and Simon is starting show his favorites because he has to sign the winner, I think Kris and Allison were better than what simon gave them.
Only bad one was Matt really. I can't remember the top 5 ever being this good
Did they say Taylor Hicks is performing tomorrow?!
Bottom 2? Matt and Allison (though it shouldn't be). Matt will go home. It's time. He just isn't memorable enough compared to the rest.
I don't recall liking the top 4 this much. (I'm just automatically discounting Matt at this point.)
Still love Adam. Sorry....theater is what he does and he's darn good at it. Plus, I think someone who is going to sign the rock stuff like he does (think Aerosmith...) has to be a bit theatrical to pull it off.
Honestly, though I think Adam is the most talented, I will be fine with anyone but Matt winning. I don't think I've ever felt that way before.
Phats - I didn't hear the part about Taylor - but if that is true, I bet you're so so excited, aren't you??? :)
I still want a top 3 of Kris, Danny, and Allison. From there I truly cannot pick.
CHristina - Maybe it's just that I'm not into theatrical musicians??? I'm not sure. I will not deny that he is good at what he does. I just dont' always like what he does - including scary looks!
My picks for the bottom 3 are Kris, Alison and Matt with Matt going home based on the fact that he's been in the bottom so many times before and I think it's time for him to go. Adam has WAY too many fan to even land in the bottom 3! Danny blew my mind last night and I think it was his best performance to date. I LOVED Alison's hair, too! She looked so cute & very age appropriate. I thought it was great that she said "I'm 17, so I'm too young to have a boyfriend" when Jamie Foxx was mentoring her. She's got a good head on her shoulders!

You know, there is a difference between having girls scream for you and vote for you because they don't know a queen when they see one - and having people who purchase CD's because they are good. Case in point: Blake (runner up year before last) and Daughtry (who was voted out in bottom 4 three years ago).
Blake's CD bombed out. Daughtry's kicked rear and he's about to release another CD and has a single out there on the road already.
Adam could do theatre, yes. But he's no Clay Aiken (comparing queens) in the potential for record sales.
Allison could do theatre as well, but the girl's voice is SO GOOD she would indeed be a Kelly Clarkson! What was Simon thinking when he asked if she believed she could win this? You know, I think that no matter what she did, he'd find something to complain about.
Does Simon not remember when he had to apologize to David Cook on air at the finale for the way the team was not just wrong, but disrespectful in their critique of him? If Simon does not write that girl a contract; I would not be surprise that she already has a contract ready to sign with someone else.
I really, REALLY hope Allison stays because next week is a Rock N Roll theme. However, I fear it will be close between she and Matt as to who will go home.
The best hope she has is if Lil fans went to her. I didn't get to vote because someone cut the cable connected to my telephone (some big substation thing)and it won't be fixed until the end of the day tomorrow. That's about 100 calls (I consistently phone repeatedly during the two hours) less for Allison. SIGH

I was WRONG about my pics in the bottom three and I'm SO HAPPY I was wrong!
I was SO happy for Kris being safe, and thought for a few fleeting moments that Adam might actually go home! (on pins and needles, I tell ya) I dreamed BIG, but, alas...it was only a dream. Adam stayed.
My top three favs were all safe last night. That has never happened before (for me) at this point in AI.
Now is when it gets really hard, because Adam's fans are going to phone and phone and phone to keep him there, SO...one of my favs will probably go home next week.
Kris, Allison, and Danny...I hope whichever ones are not in the finale will release a CD soon.
