Anyway, I found these pictures (don't you love the tint?) from when I was two. When I, as my sister so eloquently put it, "parted my teeth down the middle." She could say that. She did it too.
As I wrote in my book, I don't know if I truly went through the "terrible two's" or not - but obviously I started off the year with a full-fledged meltdown at the photographer's.
Mom told me tonight, when we talked about this particular picture...she was NOT amused when it was happening. I said "You weren't happy with the photographer or with me?" She said, "YOU! You were old enough to know how to sit and smile." Oh I just love it. I would have been annoyed with me too. She said it's cute now. I don't know about that.

I recovered...parted teeth and all. And for the record - if you look at where my knuckles SHOULD be - and all you see are dimples in fat? That went on for YEARS. I think I graduated from high school with baby fat on my hands. I thought it would NEVER end.

ahhh...how adorable. But, hmmm, you look like Ben Quick with long hair! ~Jaye
That's funny to me because after I looked again - I can see that. But I never thought of it before. Fortunately for Ben, he doesn't part his teeth down the middle. :)
Bekah these pictures are adorable!!
Too cute! I love the Farah Fawcett hairdo.
Natalie - Thanks! And I am not ignoring your email - I just haven't been in the office all day. I'll reply, I promise!
Skyepuppy - I reverted to that same hair last year. But i got rid of it. :)
WHAT no Idol gives back post?!
I thought it was amazing, and I even posted about it and it's not sports so I EXPECT a comment
Phats, i will come to comment on yours.
Truth be told? Only watched about 10 minutes of it.
I didn't realize it started before 8, so i missed that hour or half hour or whatever, and some of the music annoyed me and i was tired, so i quit watching.
On the Idol Gives Back, I tuned in after 9:00, and watched and half-listened to the end (multitasking). I really liked that they sang "Shout to the Lord" at the end (although they dropped "My Jesus" from the beginning and used "My Shepherd" instead). Between that and Dolly Parton last week, God has been getting some attention on Idol.
Your pics are cute!
I didn't watch Idols Give Back. I didn't like most of the performers and I went to church so missed an hour or more anyway. I have been appreciating the Christian songs being sung lately also.
The wrong person went home :(
Phats,
You're right. Shoulda been Carly.
SO stinkin' cute!
