So about this Bachelor...

I really did not intend for my fall lineup to include the Bachelor. I actually didn't even know a new season of the Bachelor was about to start - other than my friend Jenny telling me he was a cutie. (She was right about that!)

BUT....last night when I got home, it just so happened to be coming on, and I was about to try the exercise ball, so I figured why not watch? (I very nearly stopped before I started because try #1 of the exercise ball was done barefoot and I slid straight into the entertainment center due to lack of secure footing. WOOPS!)

So here's my thing. I like this Bachelor more than most, because he seems to be a little more - with it? But these girls! I'm sure that in real life, many of them possess an ounce or two of brain power, but the things they did last night to try to get the first impression rose were, as our secretary would say, beyond the beyond. Showing off your webbed toes? That says "pick me?" Turning into a human pretzel in an evening gown? Singing off key? Sure it makes him remember you, but um....maybe not in the way you wanted him to remember you?

As usual, I was sucked in by the teaser at the end of all the coming attractions this season, including whatever drama eventually brings in the ambulance.

Though it makes me roll my eyes, I guess my fall lineup has officially started.

Makes me really glad I'm on the road, so I can't get sucked into all the drama. Project Runway sucked me in a couple years ago.

Drama drama drama! I haven't seen project runway - is it a continuing thing or was it only on once?

I think maybe my goal this year with the Bachelor (leave it to me to actually set goals for watching a reality show) is to make sure I do not turn into one of those bachelorettes in my mentality!

My fall lineup started last night with "How I Met Your Mother." It was hilarious to see Mandy Moore dressed like a streetwalker, complete with tatoos and drinking.

Enrique Iglesias also guest starred, so it made my night!

Natalie watched too. You two are now doomed for months of drama!

Yep Brandon's right...I am now sucked in too. I had no idea a new season was starting and somehow the tv ended up on that channel right as the show was coming on so I guess I'm just meant to watch it, LOL! Oh the drama, those girls are crazy!!

no thanks to the bachelor, but I did watch Dancing with the stars, and rooting for my girlfriend Jennie Garth

WHOA! I'm behind!

Kristin - I really wish I would have started watching that show when it first came on because I enjoy Neil Patrick Harris very much (yeah yeah, I know it's all in vain). But with that cast you mentioned, I can see how it would have been a good/funny show!

Brandon/Natalie - YAY!! Someone to dissect the show with! The girls in the office next door watch too, so I've got some water cooler buddies here too. The drama they present makes me feel better about my own stupidity. LOL.

Phats - I had that show on last night, but I was busy doing other things so I wasn't sitting and watching. I thought of you though! Hey - I'm going to have dinner with Heather tonight! I was thinking of inviting her to our next game night - but then I thought I better make sure it was okay to make the group bigger than the core three! :) And when is the next game night?

And as an addendum to my comment back to Brandon and Natalie - after re-reading it, I see that I was unclear on "they" in my message. The stupid "they" referred to the bachelorettes, NOT to the girls in the office next door!

Project Runway is about dress designers. Lots of backstabbing and ugly dresses. It's had several seasons (not sure what network it's on, because my daughter & her friend were the ones who turned it on, back when they lived with me), but I don't know if it's on again this year. Totally addicting, and without any romance stupidity.

I watch Project Runway. I has it's own kind of drama, but it's fun to see what they create each week. It's on Bravo and starts tonight I think. I gave up on the Bachelor after the season when the oldest bachelorette there had a mental break down on the first night because she wasn't chosen to stay. That whole season was full of snippy, immature brats. This new bachelor is definitely a wonderful creation of God. Don't think it enough to warrant my viewing. Trying to keep my TV viewing down this year.

Duh of course she can come!! We have to plan one again I guess :) I am ready for some Mr G Imagine If!

What did you think of Grey's?

Skyepuppy and Tina - OHHH! I was thinking more like an "America's Next Top Model" show - I got ya now.

Phats - Well good because I kind of already invited her - you know, for whenever. She asked what kinds of games we play and I gave her the list except I FORGOT what if!! In my mind I could see that there was one that wasn't a card game but I couldn't remember what it was - and it was the BEST one!

I liked Greys - and Private Practice too. Did you watch that one? I really want them to bring Rebecca back so that Karev can go after her. And I don't care if McDreamy and Grey are together or apart in title, as long as they're really together. :) And I was happy (sorry) to see Callie having a rough time. I just don't like her! Have I mentioned that?
