Braeya Convalesces

I had a picture of the stitches, but given that it's taken me two days to warm up to them - I didn't want to be accused of freaking out anyone who has a stitch aversion. So instead, here she is convalescing on her makeshift bed on the couch. Why is it that couch beds always make you feel more on the mend???

Aww...poor little kitty. It can't be fun, or comfortable for her to have to lay on her tummy, but all the kitties I've ever had spayed seem to handle it fine.

Of course, when we had our long-haired 2nd kitty spayed, she also had an eye issue, so we had this ointment that we had to put in the corner of her eyes. Now, imagine how much she hated the eye ointment and how terrible I felt having to hold a poor very sore little kitty down to stick my finger in her eyes several times a day.

I hope Braeya gets better soon.

Christina - I cannot even imagine!! Truly - I can't! Shortly after Kaegan was neutered, he developed projectile pooping, so I had to take him to the vet. They didn't tell me to bring a sample (which I had tons of!) so they had to give him this mini colonoscopy to get some. He was NOT amused at that. He had about 3 years of PTSD...I'm just sure of it. ANYWAY, he had to take meds for that and it took two people to hold him down/administer the meds. Good thing I had a roommate then!!!
